SEHEAC ORGANISED EVENTS
IFFCO – BAZAR and IFFCO – TOKIO ( CSR ) sponsored research program undertaken by SEHEAC in collaboration with dept of Pediatric Endocrinology, AIIMS , New Delhi,to evaluate prevalence, aetiopathogenesis and management of menstrual disorders , obesity and thyroid disorders in school children from different socioeconomic strata.

SEHEAC with PGIMER Chandigarh Nationwide study 2024:
12th -16th February 2024 :
Chandigarh phase of the project :
At 2 schools, Govt Model Senior Secondary school and Stepping Stones school, sector 38, Chandhigarh
7th - 9th February 2024 :
Delhi phase of the project:
SEHEAC completed the Delhi phase at AABV -NDMC school , Gole market and was successfully conducted. During the health check up clinical examination was done for over 800 girls and blood sampling for 350 of them .







Dr Marwaha along with Dr Rajni from AIIMS address girls in NDMC school, Gole market, New Delhi. Accompanied by Dr Vivek Dixit. From 17 -21 January 2024, this Project this work was conducted successfully for the underprivileged girl child at NDMC school, Gole market , New Delhi. During the health check up, clinical examination was done for 320 girls .

The East Delhi Orthopedic Association invited Dr Marwaha at the first Delhi Osteoporosis Course 2024 to deliver a lecture on “Status of Calcium and Vitamin D deficiency in India and ways to deal with it “. He was also requested to join the Panel Discussion .

SEHEAC ‘Thyroid update ‘at India Habitat Centre , New Delhi

The event was attended by over 180 physicians from Delhi / NCR .




21st July 2023 :
SEHEAC organized a presentation on ‘Health and Nutrition ‘ by
Prof Ms Pulkit Mathur from Lady Irwin College followed by a Quiz and poster making competition at Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, Subroto Park , Delhi Cantt . The event ‘Confluence’ was a great success with 28 schools from across Delhi participating in the event . The program concluded with prize distribution , with prizes awarded by SEHEAC,for the Quiz and Poster making competition.

‘Malabar Endocrine Society organised the PACE MASTERCLASS Bone Update at Kozhikode. Dr Marwaha was invited to deliver a talk on ‘Status and Management of Rickets in infants and children’ .

26th February 2023:
The VI update DIAS 4.0, organised by SEHEAC, at Jaipur on 26 February 2023 was a great success with powerful presentations and good attendance.
Dr SK Mathur secretary SEHEAC and Mr Nilamber Marwah treasurer SEHEAC were present at the event .
This was the 6th Symposium conducted by SEHEAC since it’s inception in 2015. This was a landmark event as SEHEAC conducted its first symposium outside Delhi in Jaipur .

International Life Sciences Institute India (ILSI India)requests Dr Raman Kumar Marwaha to join the Board of Trustees as Scientific Trustee for the period 2023-25.
The focus areas of work of ILSI India are : Food Safety , Nutrition, Health and Wellness, Risk Science and Toxicology and Agriculture Sustainability and Nutrition Security.
Dr Marwaha has been closely associated with ILSI and has accepted the post.

14th June 2023 -Amity University :
Dr R K Marwaha has been invited by Dr W Selvamurthy , President- Amity Science, Technology & Innovation Foundation ASTIF) to deliver a talk on ‘State of Vitamin ‘D’ Deficiency Disorders in India and measures to deal with Public Health Problem’.
Amity university has approached Dr R K Marwaha to undertake collaborative research projects between SEHEAC and Amity University.

SEHEAC ORGANISED EVENTS
As a part of SEHEAC’s endeavour to collaborate with DAV schools an inter -school event for the ‘Holistic well being of students including Healthy Lifestyle, Eating Behaviour and Mental Health’ was organised on 15th November 2022 in collaboration Kulachi Hansraj Model School Ashok Vihar and executed with full cooperation from School management . Approximately 300 plus students and staff were present.
Maj Gen Raman Kumar Marwaha introduced the Event . Dr Seema Puri , presented a very comprehensive talk on foods and Nutrition elucidating various types of nutrients Macro and Micro in details. Her talk was appreciated and lauded. Students from 8 school children participated in a Quiz competition ; Poster presentation and Essay writing . Certificates of participation were given to all students and winners were awarded Achievement Certificates and prizes . The Event was a great success .
